About Me

Kia Ora my name is Alexsi and I am a year 8 student at Paihia School. I am a Maori citizen from the iwi of Ngapuhi. I enjoy playing rugby, dancing, horse riding and waka ama. I have 10 people in my family my Nan, Papa, dad, 3 brothers, 3 sisters and myself.

I enjoy learning Te Reo Maori and Literacy, I enjoy these because I like being creative while writing narratives and reading funny comedies. I am not very good at maths because I find it challenging to work things out in my head. This year I plan to work on liking maths more and putting more effort into it. As a learner I think I can accomplish anything I put to mind.

The kind of people who I look up to are people who really try and never give up no matter how challenging things may be. People who inspire me are Kaea Pearce, my Nan, Papa and my friends. I am looking forward to becoming more creative and crafty this year, meeting new people and achieving more goals. I hope you have fun reading my blog.
